Fasten your seat belts! Today brings a whirlwind of cosmic activity as Saturn the great cosmic teacher and hardass disciplinarian moves back into Sagittarius after spending some time in retrograde motion and the sign of Scorpio. Now Saturn moves into the sign of the wandering adventurer. Those far-off dreams and vision require planning, hard work and preparation in order to reach the next phase. Saturn will be in Sagittarius until 2017.
Today also finds Mercury getting ready to do his little backward dance as it goes retrograde for the last time in 2015. You know what that means! Don’t buy any electronics or cars or anything with mechanical or moving parts until at least October 11th. Also, if you need to travel, allow yourself extra time to get to where you need to go. If you can postpone a trip until next month, do it. Otherwise, if you have to go, expect a few detours or don’t make any wrong turns. Make sure the GPS is powered up and check, recheck and double check all travel arrangements. Expect people to come back from the past. It’s a good time to go over and finish up any old projects that have been lingering. In the words of Dolores O’Riordan and the Cranberries: “Do you have to let it linger?”
So, to sum it up just what is Mercury retrograde good for? Finishing old projects, resolving outstanding issues and reconnecting with old friends; maybe even going back to an old job or taking up a line of work that you did previously. Mercury has a way of tricking us into thinking everything will go according to plan. Remember, be abundantly clear with people and do not buy electronics or things with moving parts, such as cars. We’ll be all clear by October 11th.
