Pope Francis has died after 12 years as the pontiff and the head of the Catholic church. He became pope when the church was in turmoil. He led with decency, acceptance, and with a spirit of deep compassion and steadfast service. No matter your faith or even if you were of no faith, he was there, ready to embrace you, and to love you as a human being, worthy of love, acceptance and understanding. He served right up until the end, and he did what he loved to do most: be out amongst the people, serving up a heaping, helping dose of faith, love, hope, and compassion. A champion for the underdog and a proponent for the downtrodden, he knew what it was like to live a life of sacrifice and in service to his fellow human beings. We are all better off, as humanity, for his example and for his tireless actions and widespread inspiration.

Thank you, Papa. Rest in Peace. 🙏🕊️
An enthusiastic, optimistic, free-spirited and easy-going Sagittarius, Pope Francis valued the universal truths of humankind and he tried to incorporate a fresh, accepting and all-encompassing spirit of service to the church. His natal Venus was in Aquarius, so he was able to see that love really knows no bounds, and can take many forms, and he did not discriminate or invalidate the love that others share for each other, regardless of sexual orientation. In many ways, he updated the church’s perception and he singlehandedly uplifted the masses with his message of inspiration and hope and with the universality of love.
