The ring of fire eclipse was a cool thing to see. Even if you didn’t have those special viewing glasses, you could observe a shady glare emanating from the sky, casting a shadow on everything. The partial solar eclipse that covered 70% of the sun by the moon was very palpable. Only the outer rim of the sun was visible for a time. Sometimes we forget that we’re all part of a wondrous universe. Carl Sagan would remind us of this!
At this new moon in Libra, it’s a great time to set intentions and to plant seeds for justice, equality and the universality of the human condition. The world is so off balance right now that it’s sickening and quite frankly, horrifying. To hear of the things going on in the Middle East and the barbarism shown by human beings to each other is awful. The spirit endures and good will always prevail. The animosity and hatred will not prevail. Evil shall be defeated soundly with the most powerful force in the universe: LOVE.
