There’s a wallop of planetary energy in Aquarius and it’s all being catapulted by the new moon in Aquarius on February 9. This new moon comes with a caveat, however, as it will be square Uranus in Taurus. You can expect things not to go according to plan and for people to be on edge. All good, though, as nothing fazes Aquarius energy which is forward-thinking and future oriented. This is a great time to plan things out for the year that has just begun! The interesting thing is the planets this year are traveling together so we will be getting a planetary cocktail of energy from the likes of Venus, her lover Mars and from the new moons as they go through the signs around the zodiac wheel. This concentrated energy is good for getting stuff done!
The lunar new year of the wood dragon will usher in a time of hard work, dedication, no nonsense, honor, and stability. Wood year element is good for building a firm, solid, stable foundation. Dragon is showy, magnanimous and ferocious! This should be a year of fireworks! Especially with the unpredictable element that will come with the U.S. presidential election and all of the war and upheaval still going on in Ukraine and in the Gaza Strip. Hopefully cooler heads will finally prevail!
