Funny how Jamie Foxx celebrates a birthday today, just four days after the late Redd Foxx’s birthday. The story goes that Jamie was doing stand up somewhere and he had to come up with a catchy name quick to leave an indelible mark on his audience. He thought of something stripper-esque and he came up with Jamie Foxx. It’s a respectful nod to the late Redd Foxx. They’re both Sagittarius funnymen with incredibly great timing and a good sense for what’s funny. Here’s Jamie in his breakout role on “In Living Color” as voluptuous lips Wanda. You might recognize the vampire: Jim Carrey! They’re both “In Living Color” alumni. We’re wondering if Jamie will guest star in the upcoming “In Living Color” reboot to reprise his role as Wanda; we sure hope so, y’all!!!
