So, you want a revolution? Be careful what you ask for and be especially careful of what you wish to manifest because now, my friends, the air is electric! Change is the only constant thing in life, right? A wise old friend of mine used to say that we assume things are always going to be this way. “What way,” I’d ask, and he’d say: “We always assume that things are going to remain orderly, and that the status quo and predictability will go on forever, However, time and history has shown that change is the only constant. And we should always be prepared for anything. To expect the unexpected.” And that’s what Uranus is all about. When you’re expecting a curveball, you get an avalanche. The change is not all bad, though. Sometimes it’s designed to prod us out of complacency, and to challenge ourselves to step outside of our comfort zone, which sometimes staying in can become limiting at best, and stifling at worst.
We only have a certain amount of years on this Earth, and the universe wants us to use our time here wisely, and to realize and to never forget that no one is here forever, and nothing lasts or is forever. Except change.
Buckle up for this wild ride and the best advice I can give you is to remain flexible, fluid, to be open minded and adaptable during, and through these potentially trying, and challenging times that are bringing enormous change in the realms of communication, transportation, and other Mercurial areas. Uranus is often called the Great Awakener, and it rules air sign Aquarius. It’s the reason why the water bearers are usually eccentric, far-out, future oriented and just groovy, man. In Gemini, Uranus and its penchant for whirlwind change is sped up exponentially. These are truly exciting, if not downright scary, times of enormous, momentous change. The foundations of things have eroded recently with nebulous Neptune in Aries continuing to wear down old Saturnian structures of governance, taxation and representation.
