A cosmic cocktail of goodness: Winter Solstice, Cold Full Moon in Cancer and a Meteor Shower to boot!

Happy Winter Solstice! In the Northern Hemisphere, we experience the shortest day of the year and the longest night. In essence, the sun “dies” before it is reborn and the days gradually become longer and longer until the Summer Solstice.

This is a time for reflection and meditation. Think about all that has happened in this year as it winds down. Also think about what you would like to manifest in the year ahead. The Yuletide brings a period of togetherness, celebration and reflection. Enjoy the holidays.

The full moon is the Cold Moon and it happens in Cancer, the sign most associated with the moon. The full moon occurs on Saturday, December 22. Cancerian energy is nurturing, whimsical, funny, brooding, sentimental and a tad clingy. This energy is great for holiday parties and for festive occasions.

The Ursid meteor shower continues through December 24th. Look up and enjoy the light of the full moon speckled by falling meteors. It should be a nice sight to see!
