2020 has been a humdinger of a year! The coronavirus pandemic was raging when the civil rights battle was reignited by the horrible death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police. It was the latest in a long string of deaths carried out by law enforcement around the country. Black Lives Matter demands justice and it demands equality, things that have been sorely lacking in present day society. So, what is going on in the sky and how does it correlate to what’s happening on the ground, if any effect at all? Well, there is some effect but we always have the power of free will so nothing is preordained or predetermined but there are many inclinations and plenty nudging being broadcast by the planets to Mother Earth and we Eathlings. The transforming, destructive force of Pluto has been challenging the status quo and shining a light on the injustices in society since 2008. That’s when Pluto first entered Capricorn, the sign ruling business, commerce, government and the organization of society. Things got really heated when the jolly gas giant Jupiter joined forces with Pluto late January in Capricorn. Since March, the systems of normal and structures of society have been rocked to the core.
It’s been a truly wild, scary ride! We can expect COVID-19 to emerge stronger in November during virus season when Pluto and Jupiter meet again. Things should simmer and the virus ought to have less impact as of January 2021. Even though it will be winter time, Jupiter and Pluto will be 10 degrees apart so things will start to settle. Hopefully, society will respond in kind to diffuse the civil unrest over racial disparities and an unequal system. It’s a liberating, scary time but fear not as if we have the good of the many in mind, we all can be winners! Life is not a zero sum game, we can all win in the end if we all start looking out for and CARING for each other! Brother and sister, mother and father, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, et al. We are all one people created in the image of God almighty!
