“People all over the world!” The man who invented the Soooouuuullll Train is now on a one-way train to the great beyond. Soul Train was the longest-running syndicated television show in history, airing from 1971-2006. I remember my mom used to watch Soul Train every Saturday morning when I was a kid. She’d doll herself up with Aqua Net hair spray and you knew it was the weekend when the train would pull into its soulful station. We wish Don Cornelius much Love, Peace and Soul for all eternity!
