The Patron Saint of Public Television

I was lucky to have grown up with a grandmother who would encourage me to watch Sesame Street and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Public Television taught me kindness, respect and it gave me enough sense to know right from wrong. Mister Rogers always seemed so gentle, paternal and good. I knew I wanted to work in television since my early days watching PBS. Thank you, Fred. We love you for all eternity.
